Our primary purpose is to provide a resource for those seeking to liberate themselves from the smoking habit by non-pharmaceutical methods and to ensure that this resource is maintained and administered in as ethical a fashion as possible. To this end, we have attempted to ensure that all those practitioners listed within the Register have not only provided suitable evidence of their ability within the area of smoking cessation generally but have additionally agreed to confine their marketing practices and publicity claims to within the requirements laid down by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
